MEMBER ORGANIZATION'S ACTIVITIES
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Dragon, on January 28th, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Khamphao Eunthavanh visited and presented gifts to the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Branch in Residential Area 79-81 Ly Nam De, Hanoi.
This is the residence of the families of Vietnamese officers working for the former Western region Affairs department, who participated in assisting the Lao Revolution in two resistance wars against the French and the Americans.
In the atmosphere of warm reception and friendly affection at the traditional house of the residential area, the Ambassador extended wishes for good health and a happy new year to all residents in the 79-81 Ly Nam De area. The Ambassador affirmed that the close relationship between the Embassy and the resident in the area is evidence of a unique and special relationship in the world between Laos and Vietnam.
The Ambassador and members of the delegation took time to view images, artifacts, and documents in the traditional house of the residential area.
