MEMBER ORGANIZATION'S ACTIVITIES
On the morning of January 25th, in Hanoi, the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Association of Hanoi organized a conference to review the work of 2023 and deploy the operational direction for 2024. Mr. Nguyen Van Hay, the Chairman of the Association, presided over the conference.
After listening to the report on the activities of the Association in 2023 and the operational direction for 2024, the delegates highly appreciated the results of the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Association of Hanoi. The Executive Board of the Association always pays attention to guidance, the Executive Committee is proactive, actively maintains regular as well as ad-hoc activities. Opinions for contributions in 2024 includes: promoting the proposal to enhancing activities between Ba Dinh District (Hanoi) with the Revolutionary Square District (La Habana); connecting branches; contributing to the Association's fund. On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Cuban revolution, the association will organize a delegation to visit historical sites in Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Cuba. Moreover, it will also pay attention to supporting Vietnamese language teaching for Cuban friends; strengthen foreign information work on the Association's website; launch a new branch; create an environment that attracts former young students to participate in Association activities...
With the achievements obtained, the Association has received a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee. Mr. Nguyen Van Hay, Chairman of the Association, received a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the HAUFO for outstanding achievements in people-to-people diplomatic activities of the Capital in 2023.
