Continuing innovation, enhancing the effectiveness of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association in Hanoi

On the afternoon of January 26, in Hanoi, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Hanoi held a conference to review the work of 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. Mr. Duong Hoai Nam, Member of the Hanoi Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Bien District, chaired the conference.

In 2023, under the close guidance of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Hanoi made efforts to implement key tasks: organizing the seminar " Activities of Uncle Ho in Russia - the October revolutionary homeland" at K9 Historical Site; organizing a tour for delegation of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province; establishing the Small Dream Club and increasing the total number of clubs to 16; intensifying propaganda activities on people's foreign affairs, peace, friendship...

 

 

In 2024, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Principles Treaty on Friendship between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Russian Federation (June 16, 1994 - June 16, 2024), the Association plans to establish a working delegation in the Russian Federation at the end of June 2024; coordinating with the Hanoi Children's Palace to organize an exchange program between Vietnamese and Russian children in September 2024. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the operation of the Hoa Binh hydropower plant, the Association will organize a visit and meeting with the plant's leadership.

 

At the conference, on behalf of the city's leadership, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, Vice Chairman of the HAUFO, presented Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee to the Association. The Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Hanoi awarded certificates of merit to some units and individuals who had outstanding achievements in the Association's activities in 2023.
