HAUFO ACTIVITIES
Before the Lunar New Year of the Dragon, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO) visited and presented gifts to some Embassies.
Ambassadors were joyful and grateful for visiting and extending Lunar New Year wishes to the Embassies. At the same time, they hope that in 2024, there will be many practical activities to promote foreign affairs activities in general, and people-to-people diplomacy specifically in Hanoi. The Ambassadors emphasized the importance of developing people-to-people diplomacy and expressed their desire to collaborate with Hanoi government and the HAUFO to organize people-to-people exchange activities to enhance mutual understanding between the people of different countries and the people of the Capital city.
The Standing Committee of the HAUFO hopes that in 2024, embassies will coordinate to organize people-to-people diplomacy activities. On the occasion of the New Year of the Dragon, it sent all ambassadors and embassy officials warmest wishes, and also invited them to celebrate Tet with the people of the Capital city.
